House
Phi Kappa Theta makes its home near the Michigan Tech campus
at 1301 Ruby Avenue. We are located at a 5-minute walk from campus and
across the street from Jim’s food mart, Dominos Pizza, Subway, Wells
Fargo, and the college bookshelf.
Our current house was built in 2003 and can comfortably house 22
brothers. Our house is one of the newest and best-kept houses on
campus. It has state of the art fire detection and sprinkler systems,
as well as in floor heating, and many other amenities. The house has a
total of 5 showers, and 4 and 1/2 bathrooms, we are also working on
finishing a sauna in our basement.
Our First floor boasts a full kitchen with two ovens and an industrial
fridge and freezer where our cook, Josephine, prepares meals. We also
have a pool table, a full bathroom, and one bedroom on our first floor.
Second and 3rd floors each have 5 bedrooms, and a corresponding
bathroom. We also have a large parking lot, which is fully lit at
night.
Our house meets all building code for a commercial residence and is
rigorously maintained as such.
If you have any questions about our house, please contact our house
manager.
